Me gusta esta canción, hoy la venía escuchando en el radio. Siempre que la escucho, me hace llorar...
Tie a yellow ribbon
-- Tony Orlando
I'm comin' home, I've done my time
Now I've got to know what is and isn't mine
If you received my letter telin' you I'd soon be free
Then you'll know just what to do if you still want me
If you still want me
Tie a yellow ribbon 'round the old oak tree
It's been three long years
Do you still want me?
If I don't see a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree
I'll stay on the bus
Forget about us
Put the blame on me
If I don't see a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree
Bus driver, please look for me
'Cause I couldn't bear to see what I might see
I'm really still in prison, and my love she holds the key
A simple yellow ribbon's what I need to set me free
I wrote and told her please:
REPEAT CHORUS
Now the whole damn bus is cheering
And I can't believe I see
A hundred yellow ribbons 'round the old oak tree
I'm comin' home

Please Mr. Postman
Please Mr. Postman
--- The Carpenters
( Stop )
Oh yes, wait a minute
Mister Postman
( Wait )
Wait Mister Postman
Please Mister Postman look and see
( Oh yeah )
If there's a letter in your bag for me
( Please, Please, Mister Postman )
Why's it takin' such a long time
( Oh yeah )
For me to hear from that boy of mine
There must be
Some word today
From my boyfriend
So far away
Please Mister Postman
Look and see
If there's a letter
A letter for me
I've been standin' here
Waitin' Mister Postman
So patiently
For just a card
Or just a letter
Sayin' he's returning'
Home to me
So many days
You passed me by
See the tears
Standin' in my eyes
You didn't stop
To make me feel better
By leavin' me
A card or a letter
( Why don't you check it and see one more time
for me you gotta )
Wait a minute, wait a minute...
( Mister Postman )
Mister Postman look and see
( C'mon deliver the letter, the sooner, the better )
Mister Postman

Me muero
